As it does at this time of the year, Samsung announced the C-Lab incubator project at the 2022 International Consumer Electronics Show with the purpose of evaluating customer responses and furthering the most promising ideas. This year's star project is ZamStar, a combination of guitars and apps designed to make collaboration and learning easier. Other notable projects include an artificial intelligence solution that helps children develop good smartphone habits, and a parenting phone that can detect infant strabismus (crossed eyes) early.
Mae ZamStar yn cynnwys cymhwysiad a gitâr arferol o'r enw ZamString. Y syniad yw y gallwch chi chwarae adran ar y gitâr, ychwanegu effeithiau, ac yna cydamseru â cherddorion eraill ledled y byd. Mae hwn yn amlwg yn atgynhyrchiad o duedd cydweithredu cerddoriaeth TikTok COVID-19 (cofiwch eich gilydd o ddechrau'r flwyddyn hon), a'r syniad yw gwneud eich cerddoriaeth yn hawdd i'w chysoni. Ar yr un pryd, mae gan y gitâr ZamString fysfwrdd, sy'n cael ei oleuo gan fewnbwn y gân, gan ei gwneud hi'n hawdd i chi ddarganfod ble i roi eich bysedd. Nid yw hwn yn gysyniad newydd, ond efallai mai dyma’r cyntaf i gyfuno dysgu a chydweithio.

At the same time, Piloto is what Samsung calls an "artificial intelligence solution to help children cultivate the correct habits of using smartphones." Its purpose is to teach children "self-regulation skills" on smart devices and help them make the right choices. Finally, Innovision is "an eye care system in daily life. There is a nursery mobile phone that can capture suspicious symptoms of strabismus and monitor the baby's visual ability development." This seems to be a smart idea, because the baby naturally looks at the phone. .
In addition to the internal incubator, Samsung's C-Lab also supports nine start-ups, including an AI-based pet biometric solution called Petnow. All these projects will be displayed in their own booths at CES in 2022. So far, Samsung seems to still plan to participate in the event, and has not followed the pace of other exhibitors (Google, Lenovo, Intel, Amazon, Meta, T-Mobile) to cancel.
